L.F DOES S/S - SMOKEY BRIGHT

I'm pretty sure the smudging of my right eye is from the case of itchy eyebrow area whilst I was taking photos... gah sorry! It's really annoying, I've just noticed all the photos are like this. Can you try and pretend it's perfect?
KEY PRODUCTS:
RIMMEL SOFT KOHL KAJAL EYE LINER PENCIL - PURE WHITE
MAC EYE-SHADOW - BIO GREEN, SPROUT, PINK FREEZE AND PARROT
MUFE EYE-SHADOW - 92
MAC MINERALIZE SKINFINISH - LIGHTSCAPADE
MAC BLUSH - TAUPE
CARGO BLUSH - GOTHAM
OCC LIP TAR STAINED GLOSS - NEW WAVE
MODEL CO - ILLUSION NUDE LIP LINER

Hey guys, I acquired some new make-up recently so I just created this look from the mish mash of everything. It's nice playing around with colour for once - from bright aqua blue to a frosted forest green.
I am just incredibly annoyed I managed to smudge the top right eye without realising... SIGH.

L.F DOES S/S - GOING BACK TO NATURE

I love this fragile petal armoured mask.
My more subtle take on going all au natural. And I have weird eyes going on.
KEY PRODUCTS:
MAC LIPSTICK - HONEYLOVE
CONTOUR CREAM/POWDER
BECCA EYEBROW POWDER - ASH
FLOWERS
DUO ADHESIVE

Hey guys, this week I'm going back to basics, and incorporating in some mother nature. If you do intend on recreating this/doing this on a model, you should probably plan what flowers/plants to use and how they would structurally work on the face. I was working on the existing flowers I had in the house, so I just worked with what I had. I was lacking on petals so I decided to make a feature of one side and on the other have more of the buds, and with the power of duo adhesive - I'm some sort of flower hippy! The rest of the face I kept very clean and minimal with some highlighting and contouring.
So I've used flowers, thread, gems.... what else is on the list?

L.F DOES S/S - PEARL GLOW

Peter Philips beautiful accompaniment to Lagerfeld's ocean wonderland. I remember first seeing this and being in total awe. Effortlessly elegant = Chanel.
Perfected skin with subtle placements of pearl detail adorning the face and and hair.
I wanted to play up the eyes more so I did some crease work with flashes of frost paired with winged eyeliner. For the lips I went for this bitten lip effect and used concealer to make them appear smaller.
I noticed a small smudge of mascara on the right pearl but otherwise I'm quite happy with the outcome. Has some kind of Elizabethan vibe?
KEY PRODUCTS:
PEARL STICKERS
DUO ADHESIVE
BEAUTE LIP STAIN - FEVER
MAC LIPSTICK - CYBER
ILLAMASQUA CREAM PIGMENT - HOLLOW

Hey guys, I guess a more tame look from me this week. I've had Chanel's S/S 2012 favourited on my 'to do' list for awhile and here it is. I'm usually drawn to more extreme transformations but the simplicity of the pearls adorned all over the model looks so chic and understated. I've changed a few elements but I hope you like it.

L.F DOES S/S - PINK

Sophie Sumner for Beauty in Vogue by Miles Aldridge
Pink eyes, cheeks and face! I'm looking a bit hamster-like too here.
Webcam captures the lower lip line highlighting detail.

KEY PRODUCTS:
SUGARPILL PRESSED EYESHADOW - FLAMEPOINT AND LOVE+
MAC EYESHADOW - PASSIONATE
MAC LIPSTICK - FANFARE
NARS BLUSHER - TORRID

Hey guys, back in Barbie style! I picked up May's Italian Vogue recently and I fell in love with Miles Aldridge's cover. Personally it reminds me of a pink pin-up esque look? With MEGA highlighting. The flashes of orange on the lid and mid lower lash line adds some neon summer fun.
Hope you guys like this, I'm currently back home in Leeds for awhile to sort some stuff out.... I KEEP GETTING REJECTED. I know you are not suppose to take these things personally, but it sucks!

L.F DOES S/S - SEEING ROUGE

I always reference back to this... I love the make-up so much (I'm a sucker for bleached brows).
Eagle-eyed readers may remember I recreated this look before, but I took it down because I wasn't happy with it. I may re-do it one day!
This is the image that inspired me with this weeks look. You guys know I have a thing for strong make-up. Monochromatic look that is simple yet brash. Oh and Anais Pouliot lips are to die for (current girl crush). I have a thing for pouty lips atm. Lana Del Ray looking... but natural ;)
I know the brows are a tad red toned - I couldn't find my usual pencil! And I think I look like a fish here haha.
Hi stray hair!
KEY PRODUCTS:
LA FEMME BLUSHER - RED (ALL OVER LID)
LA FEMME BLUSHER - ROSE (BROW BONE AND USED TO BLEND EDGES)
LA FEMME BLUSHER - FRAMBOESIA (INNER TEAR DUCT AREA)
MAC STUDIO FIX FLUID FOUNDATION
MAC SKIN SHEEN BRONZER STICK -  TAN-TINT
MAC MINERALIZE SKINFINISH - LIGHTSCAPADE
NO7 PERFECT LIPS PENCIL - FIRE (WITH MATCHING LIPSTICK AND GLOSS)

Hey guys, S/S is here, so colour is back with a vengeance!
The main emphasis of this weeks look is a raccoon of varying rouge tones around the eyes with matching lips. Instead of a matte stained look seen in the photo above, I decided to add some gloss to amplify the impact even more.
For the rest of the face, just perfect the skin and with the brows I mainly focused on the tail area to add structure.
Really easy and effective look to achieve. Keeping things simple isn't always such a bad thing!

L.F DOES S/S - TOM FORD BEAUTY INSPIRED MAKEUP

Heavy eyes and lips? Hell yeah!
Please excuse the epic fashion faux pas going on...

KEY PRODUCTS:
OCC LIP TAR - SAFETY ORANGE
M.A.C EYESHADOW IN HUMID AND SWIMMING
E.L.F EYE TRANSFORMER - GREEN PASTEL SHADE
BENEFIT - EYE BRIGHT

Hey guys, another S/S look from me! Ever since I saw the Tom Ford beauty campaigns featuring Lara Stone, I instantly fell in love with the 'green' look featured above. I love the how the pairing of bold heavy green eyes and statement juicy orange lips doesn't look too overpowering because of the use of cooler tones.
Also apologies for the bleached out photo. I decided to give the Illamasqua rich liquid foundation another go. I don't think it's meant to be... Clings onto any dry patches and can't handle any oiliness. That's why I used flash to try hide the skin!

L.F DOES S/S - MARNI 2011 INSPIRED MAKE-UP

Click here to see what Tom Pecheux used in the show and his inspiration behind the look.
My version! The lipstick is very washed out here because I was experimenting with a pastel orange base underneath. Morange is BRIGHT. More TTL in the images above!

I know there's a lack of photos, so in the video you get to the eye shape etc in more detail. P.S I was really tired so major apologies for the added "erms" throughout. The pause half way through the video is because I thought the camera had frozen, so I had a little stare out with the camera lol.

KEY PRODUCTS:
BOBBI BROWN LONG WEAR GEL EYE-LINER - BLACK INK
M.A.C LIPSTICK - MORANGE

Hey guys, back with a S/S look. It's essentially a  graphic eye paired with a strong fresh lip.
I've personally changed the shape of the liner so the tail flicks up (mod/60's style) and softened it with a grey eyeshadow (by Illamasqua but the name has rubbed off, sorry!).
I found the girls seemed to have more of matte finish to the face so I used a matte foundation and made the brows much fuller to mimic a natural full brow.
This look is also good if you want to practice your M.U skills. It's all about precision and getting everything perfected, as it's so minimal any mistakes will stand out. This look took me awhile and I still had a little mis-hap with the eyes (explained in vid').
Talk soon!

L.F DOES S/S - METALLIC BRIGHTS

Prada Spring Summer 2011 Campaign by Steven Meisel
Epic moon face too..
Concentrate the lid colour on the outer thirds THEN slowly blend the colour in, this look isn't about a block colour lid!

 RUN DOWN:
ORANGE LID
STRONG LIQUID EYELINER
CORNER LASHES
SILVER  IN EYE DUCT AND LOWER LID
PEACH BLUSHER ON HIGHER TEMPLES OF THE CHEEKS
STRONG STATEMENT LIPS
SILVER HIGHLIGHT (USE EYESHADOW) ON CUPIDS BOW AND BRIDGE OF NOSE
CONTOUR CHEEKS AND NOSE
MEDIUM-LIGHT BROWS
KEY PRODUCTS TO ACHIEVE THIS LOOK:

Hey guys, I'm back with a S/S look. I wanted to do a 'brights' look as seen on C.D but I also wanted to change it up. Inspired by the Prada campaign I added the strong silver 'metal' highlight which gives it modern look, instead of using conventional complimentary gold tones.
Have fun and experiment!
